Again he could have seriously taken advantage of my admitted ignorance, but instead helped make sure I learned some things to avoid having to place service calls. He was very polite, kind, and efficient, while talking he didnt try to sell me extras. He took the time to set my fridge/freezer temperatures to optimal settings and tighten a handle that was a bit loose just because he was already there While talking he also explained some things I should be aware of with other appliances he wasnt touching that day, just general things home owners could do to extend the life and performance of appliances. He told me what tools I would need to do the service and if I went with another service company in the future instead what recommended kits ranging from $40-80 I actually wouldnt need and why. BUT he took the time to show me what he was doing, explaining that this is something I could fix myself without concern. When he arrived I admitted that I was newly a 1st home buyer and new nothing about appliance maintenance (I know, I cringed too as the words left my mouth) the service guy could have fleeced me and I would have never known. On the day of my appointment my service person called me to let me know I would be his next appointment and would be there in 35 min. The day before my service I also received an in person call to reconfirm and got an email with a link showing me where my call was in the service persons schedule (this updated in real time!), which made it easy to plan the rest of my day. I booked on line, after hours (which offered several flexible booking times) and received a call back the next morning to confirm.
